Steam wrapper why can't steam create somthing like wineskin,winery. And the better way where the steam get config better and mac user can download and use that. I read here that the DS4 will work on Mac out-of-the-box by plugging the controller via a micro USB cable—they said it will automatically work as a regular joystick. I got the DS4 yesterday (controller only, no console) and tested it on my Mac but it doesn't seem to work. The computer detects the controller but the games I have doesn't seem to recognize any inputs on the DS4. The Windows version of Steam is available, and which could allow you to run some Windows-only games on your Mac. Choose any of these options and WineBottler will automatically download, install, and configure these applications for you. The installed application will appear under “On My Mac” in the WineBottler window.

It is possible to stop Steam updating to the latest version. To do this create a text file containing the following text: BootStrapperInhibitAll=Enable
Save the file as ‘Steam.cfg’ and put it in the steam folder of your wrapper doing: rightclick the specific Steam wrapper –> show package content –> c_drive –> navigate to the Steam folder and (re)place the file into the Steam wrapper and then launch Steam.. This needs to be done before you run Steam for the first time. If Steam had already updated itself then use a backup wrapper if you have one. So again this fix will only work if the Steam client isn’t updated yet.
Don’t want to redownload the whole game again? Rightclick wrapper –> show package content –> c_drive –> program files –> Steam –> drag the “SteamApps” folder to the desktop and trash the old wrapper. Then Rightclick the “new” wrapper –> show package content –> c_drive –> program files –> Steam –> drag the “SteamApps” folder into the Steam folder + the steam.cfg file and then launch the wrapper and you should be able to play without re-downloading anything again. We will meanwhile update the Steam wrappers where possible.

On request, the return of the game Star Wars Rebellion on Paulthetall.com. The game was removed because of a bug that you cannot do the manual galactic battles (it will crash if you do so), so automatic battles will only work. Despite of this bug a lot of people still want to play this old diamond. So because of this bug I cannot add it into the Portingkit, but have made an exception Wrapper for this one. This way people who want to play the game and don’t care about the manual galactic battles can still enjoy this game. Below the video with some game-play in the Portingkit before it was removed :P.
Before downloading the wrapper, make sure security settings are set correctly when you have Mavericks OSX or higher. Then simply download the Wrapper below and extract the file and double-click the wrapper–> get and download Star Wars Rebellion on GOG –> install windows software –> navigate to the GOG.com installer file and double-click it –> Installing the game into the Wrapper and at the end of installation click “exit”. Now double-click the wrapper and play! For more info about porting go up here…
